As I continued reading, I saw that the book of Revelation can be understood in multiple dimensions—historical, symbolic, spiritual, literal, and prophetic. Each layer reveals a different aspect of God's plan and character, and as believers, we are called to seek understanding in all these areas (Proverbs 25:2, NKJV: “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”). This book is not only about future events but also about the living presence of Christ in His church today, His victory over darkness, and His ultimate return.
The more we immerse ourselves in God's Word and the revelation of Jesus Christ, the more we develop an insatiable hunger to know Him deeply (Psalm 119:103, NIV: “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!”). This kind of devotion is not just about gaining knowledge but about being transformed by His truth (Romans 12:2, ESV: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”).
A passionate pursuit of Christ is a sign of spiritual growth. As we study His Word, especially a book as profound as Revelation, we must approach it with humility and expectation, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us into deeper truths (John 16:13, NIV: “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.”).
Let's enthusiastically pursue Jesus, understanding that in Him, every mystery is unveiled. Through Him, we are empowered to walk in our Heavenly Father's perfect will, which is inherently good. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ" (Ephesians 1:9, NIV).
By seeking Jesus, we gain insight into God's mysteries and are strengthened to live according to His benevolent plan. As Paul also stated, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13, NIV). Let’s be saturated with scriptures until we live fully in the Biblical covenant given to us for a victorious life.
