God Keeps His Promises
Numbers 23:19 (NIV):
"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?"
This verse reminds us of the unchanging and trustworthy nature of God. He is not like a man, prone to failure or deceit. His promises are dependable.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV):
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
This verse underscores the critical importance of understanding God’s Word. Without it, we cannot live in the fullness of His promises.
Have you ever wondered why suffering exists or why God allows difficult circumstances? These questions are common, and the enemy loves to use them to create doubt in our hearts about God’s goodness.
The truth is that God has given us the tools to overcome life’s challenges, but we must learn how to use them. Hosea 4:6 highlights that a lack of knowledge—not God’s lack of power or willingness—is often the root of destruction. God has provided promises in His Word, and when we understand them and fight the good fight of faith, we can live in victory.
The devil’s strategy is to make us believe God is a liar or unjust, but Scripture declares that God is faithful to His Word. Living in the knowledge of God’s promises and the power of the Holy Spirit positions us for a victorious life. Stand firm, knowing that God always keeps His Word!
