Build Habits, Break Barriers

As we cultivate daily, conquering habits, it is essential to keep a journal and record our victories over challenges. This allows us to witness the results of establishing a consistent daily routine.

Each morning, the first thing we should do upon waking is declare:

“This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

Then, we express our thankfulness for all the good things He has already done and what He continues to do. Praise Him for who He is—our Creator and Sustainer. After giving thanks, present your petitions before Him:

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14)

Pray:

Lord, create in me a clean heart. Bless me abundantly, and keep me from sin so that I do not hurt myself or others. Place a hedge of protection around me, my family, my friends, and my country.

Remember, we pray using Scripture because when we pray according to God's will, He answers. That means we win! We use these Scriptures to guide our prayers, writing them out daily until the answers come.

Take time to be still and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying. Record in a notebook His guidance and any revelations He gives you.
