Created as Kings and Queens, Precious in God’s Eyes

Its an old bible with a beautiful crown on top.

You are royalty. From the very beginning, God created us to be kings and queens, entrusted with the authority to rule over His creation. We are precious in the eyes of our Creator, filled with dignity, purpose, and worth. The devil, however, wants to steal that identity from us and deceive us into living far below our calling, like rats instead of the royalty we are. But today, we choose life, we choose the truth, and we declare that we are precious to the One who made all things.

In Genesis 1:28, God gave mankind the responsibility to "fill the earth and subdue it" and to "rule over" every living creature. This command reveals our God-given authority and purpose. We were made to reflect His image as rulers and caretakers of the world. But beyond our role as stewards, God created us with inherent value and dignity. Every person, no matter their background or status, is precious in His sight.

James 3:9 reminds us of this truth: "With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness." This verse emphasizes that because we are made in God’s image, every person possesses immense worth. We are to treat others with the same respect and love that God has for us. The devil wants to strip away our understanding of this truth, leading us into a mindset of worthlessness, but God calls us to live as royalty—knowing we are loved and valued beyond measure.

Being created in God's image also means we are designed for relationships. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in perfect community, we were made to live in connection with one another and with God. Colossians 3:10 says, "And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator." This renewal reminds us that we are constantly being shaped to reflect God's holiness and character. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we become more like Him, reflecting His love, grace, and righteousness to those around us.

The devil tries to destroy and steal everything God has given us—our dignity, our identity, and our relationships. But we must stand firm in the truth of who we are. We are kings and queens, created to rule with honor and love. We are precious to the Creator of all things, and nothing can change that.

Declaration:

  1. “Lord, I declare that I am royalty, created to rule with dignity and purpose. I choose to walk in the authority You have given me.”

  2. “I reject the lies of the enemy that try to steal my identity and worth. I am precious in Your eyes, and I will live as the king/queen You created me to be.”

  3. “I choose life today, walking in the truth of my value and calling. I will reflect Your love, grace, and righteousness to the world around me.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me in Your image and for the honor of being Your royal child. Help me to walk in the authority You have given me, knowing that I am precious to You. Protect me from the lies of the enemy that try to steal my identity and purpose. Help me to grow in holiness and reflect Your righteousness in everything I do. Thank You for the dignity, value, and worth that come from being made in Your likeness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You were created to be a king or queen, precious in God’s sight. As Colossians 3:10 and Genesis 1:28 remind us, we are made in God’s image to rule and reflect His nature. Don’t let the enemy deceive you into living below your calling. Walk confidently in your identity as a child of God, knowing you are loved, valued, and created for greatness.
