placed in my hands? How can I use it to serve others and bring honor to His name?”
A Biblical example of encouragement can be found in the account of Barnabas, named the “Son of Encouragement,” who played a pivotal role in the early church by believing in people when others doubted them. When Paul, newly converted, was viewed with suspicion by the apostles, it was Barnabas who vouched for him and encouraged his acceptance (Acts 9:26-27 KJV). Encouragement has the power to change someone’s trajectory. Our words, prayers, and support can give someone the strength to keep going. Who in your life needs a reminder that they are seen, loved, and valued by God?
Finally, being an activator requires stepping beyond passive faith into courageous action. Nehemiah is a powerful example of this. When he heard about the broken walls of Jerusalem, he didn’t just lament—he prayed, planned, and took bold steps to rebuild, inspiring others to join him (Nehemiah 2:17-18 KJV). Faith, when combined with action, unleashes God’s power in the world. Sometimes the first step can feel overwhelming, but when you move in faith, God will meet you there. What bold step is God asking you to take today?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for equipping me with gifts, placing people in my life to encourage, and calling me to act boldly in faith. Help me to see opportunities to innovate, strengthen others with my words, and step into the purpose You have for me. I trust that as I follow Your leading, You will guide me and glorify Your name through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This week, I encourage you to reflect on how you can innovate, encourage, and activate in your daily walk. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to opportunities where you can glorify God through your creativity, words, and actions. Remember, God has chosen you for such a time as this—step out and make an eternal impact!
