Are We Living in Abundant Life?
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 (NKJV)
Are we simply surviving—living paycheck to paycheck, relying on credit for daily needs, or taking Tylenol just to get through the aches and pains of everyday life? Have we accepted this as “normal” simply because an educated doctor gave a professional opinion? Far too often, we are told, “There’s no cure for this,” or, “You’ll just have to live with it.” These statements, though factual in the natural, can become chains in the spiritual if we accept them as permanent truths. They are lies from the enemy—and when we accept lies, we suffer the consequences that come with them.

Are we settling for mediocrity—unaware that Jesus didn’t come just so we could survive? He came so we could thrive.
Are we merely going through the motions of faith—attending services, reading a verse here and there, whispering a quick prayer before bed—yet still feeling spiritually dry, overwhelmed, and defeated? That’s not the life Jesus described. He came to give us abundant life—a life filled with peace, purpose, joy, and power through Him.
Abundant life is not just about material wealth. It includes divine health, constant joy, spiritual fullness, and walking daily in the overflow of God’s presence, promises, and provision—no matter the circumstances.

His plans for your life go beyond what you can ask or imagine.Romans 15:13 (NLT) – "I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."
Abundant life overflows with hope, joy, and peace.2 Peter 1:3 (CSB) – "His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness."
You already have access to everything you need to live abundantly.

Have I allowed fear, distraction, or disappointment to steal the abundant life Jesus promised?
What areas of my life need to be surrendered so God can breathe new life into them?
